Michael Osburn

Michael Dane Osburn the son of Morris Duane and Ruth (Quinton) Osburn was born December 6, 1964 in Muskogee, Oklahoma and departed this life on February 26, 2019 at the age of 54 years, 2 months and 20 days.

Michael enjoyed life and he loved his family. He enjoyed being outdoors whether he was fishing or on the golf course with friends shooting a game of golf. He enjoyed playing poker and watching NASCAR. He was an avid OU Football fan and loved his Sooners. Collecting coins was a hobby that he enjoyed as well as going to auctions and watching lightning and thunderstorms. Michael was a jokester and he always had a good joke to tell. He loved animals, especially his dog Knox. He loved his job as a nurse and to him it wasn't a job it was just his life. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and watching Jeopardy, only to show how smart he was as he would answer the questions before anyone else. He loved spending time with his grandson, James, and his granddaughter Junebug. Michael touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father Morris Duane Osburn.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his wife of over 23 years Venesa Osburn of the home; his mother Ruth Osburn of Tahlequah; his children Taylor Osburn and Nicklaus Osburn both of Tahlequah; his sister Kim Osburn of Tahlequah; his brothers Mark Osburn of Joplin and Richard Osburn of Onamia, MN; and his grandchildren James and Juniper Morrison both of Tahlequah. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
