Mildred Campbell

Mildred Delois Sharp Campbell was born on January 12, 1923 in Christie, OK to Wiley and Arvell Foster Sharp. She passed from this world on November 26, 2014 at the age of 91 years 10 months and 14 days.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday December 1, 2014 in the Shirley Cemetery with Maurice Shepherd officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.

Mildred lived a long and happy life close to her family at Eldon. She married Jarome Campbell on June 1, 1940 and together they lived a happy life for almost 65 years. She was known for her cooking and a welcome home for anyone. She was one of Jehovahs Witnesses and she truly believed in Jesus Christ and the resurrection.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jarome, her son Melvin Campbell and a grandson Keven Mendenhall.

Mildred is survived by her family which includes two sons, Joel and wife Deloris Campbell of Christie and Ernest and wife Mary Campbell of Eldon one daughter, Mary and husband Roy Kliest also of Eldon and a special daughter Cressie Campbell of Eldon. Also surviving are many grandchildren which are Darren and Susan Campbell, Paul Campbell, Janet and Chris Butler, Greg, Amanda and Jay Campbell, Ginger and Don Moore, David and Kim Kliest and Kenny, Keith and Lisa Kirk great grandchildren, Justin, Brandi, Sydni, Steven, Kalin, Dominique, Kelly, Danielle, Kyler, Ashley, Adrien, Aaryn, Jerome, Anna, Laklyn, Rachael, Misty, Holly, Brandy, Machel, Curtis, Ty, Samantha and Jeremy and a host of greatgreat grandchildren, one brother Burl Sharp and one sister Sharon Sharp.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons Paul, David, Jay, Greg, Don, Chris, Jerome, Justin, Darren and Steven.
