Mildred Moore

Mildred Lucille Moore, of Tahlequah, OK passed away on June 17, 2022, at the age of 90. She was born on May 18, 1932, in Tahlequah, OK the daughter of Everett Shrum and Dorothy (Sunday) Shrum)

Mildred was a friend to everyone she met. When you met her, you would leave having a great friend. She was currently a homemaker of the home. She loved to fish, go camping, go to Church, watch general hospital, garage sale, and quilt. She could do just about anything she put her mind to, but her greatest treasures in life were her grandchildren and family. She loved being around her grandchildren, great grandchildren and even great great grandchildren. She loved to teach them lessons about life and even spoil them. She had a sweet personality and could always make you laugh. She loved bright colors and never let it stop her from expressing her true self. She was a ray of sunshine inside and out. One thing people remember is when she would cook her famous chili and feed everyone who came over. If you were over and Miss. Mildred's house, you were fed and cared for whether you were blood or not. You always had a safe place with her. She was the mom everyone needed and wanted. She will be missed by everyone she leaves behind.

She was preceded in death by her parents, the love of her life; Samuel Earl Moore, siblings; Sadie Hammond, Dennis Shrum, Ruth Ann Drywater, Bob Shrum, and Wanda Sourjohn.

She is survived by a loving family, which includes her children; Gail Golden and husband Junior, Tony Moore and wife Mary, Jim Moore and wife Tammy, and Shelley Simpson and husband Bob, grandchildren; Steven Golden, Kerrie Price, Shanda Cooper, Tara Wheeler, Travis Moore, Justin Melton, DJ Moore, Lacie Melton, William Deardeuff, and Sammy Kirk, 26 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous family and friends.
