Monroe Lewis Johnson Jr. was born May 18, 1953 in Madera, California to Monroe Lewis Johnson Sr. and Betty Lee Freeman. He moved to Tahlequah in the 1960's with his parents and siblings. He graduated from Tahlequah high school. If Monroe had an interest in something he excelled at it. In 1978 he met Pamela Weavel, "the prettiest girl he'd ever seen". They married and had one son and two daughters together. She was his best friend and he loved her with all his heart and she still is "the prettiest girl he's ever seen". They danced many dances together, and they definitely could cut a rug. He could two-step better than the rest, in Pam's words. His entire life was dedicated to being an amazing father and providing to the best of his ability for them, which he did. He started his Electrician Career not long after high school and he continued in this trade throughout his entire life. He became a Master Electrician and for a while was the owner of Sparkys Industrial Electric. Monroe took extreme pride in his Electrical skills and it showed in all his work. He taught his son Dylan, and his grandsons Gabriel, Joseph, and Jacob the Electrical trade. They saw his hard work and dedication and will pride fully continue his legacy. He was blessed to have got to spend his last few years getting to spoil and love his two youngest grandsons Cooper and Jett every day.
