Nina Harvey

Funeral services for Nina Mae Harvey will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday April 21, 2015 at the Peggs Community Church with Bro. Rex Hendrickson officiating. Interment will follow in the New Home Cemetery under the care and direction of Hart Funeral Home of Tahlequah.

Nina Mae Harvey the daughter of Austin Thomas and Jennie (Hill) Stevens was born June 14, 1930 in Hulbert, Oklahoma and departed this life on April 17, 2015 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years, 10 months and 3 days.

Nina Mae enjoyed her role as a wife, mother grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, cooking and having her family around her. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed going to church and singing old gospel songs. Nina Mae touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Howard Noel Harvey; 5 sisters, 5 brothers and one grandchild.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her eight children: Harl Harvey and wife Linda of Peggs, Charles Eugene Harvey and wife Deborah of Hulbert, Carol Spradlin and husband Willard of Peggs, Austin Noal Harvey and wife JoAnn of Tahlequah, Conley Harvey and wife Paula of Irving, TX, Ivan Harvey and wife Tonja of Blackwell, Robert Harvey and wife Brenda of Locust Grove and Howard Keith Harvey and wife Debbie of Okay; two brothers Farris Stevens and wife Pat of Tulsa and Dawes Stevens and wife Velva of Peggs; 17 grandchildren 39 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
