Norma "Hobby Jean" Yahola the daughter of George C. and Bessie (Dreadfulwater) Reese was born on November 25, 1952 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on March 4, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 63 years, 3 months and 8 days.
Hobby Jean enjoyed many things such as loafing with her niece, or junking with her niece and nephew, or going "Honky Tonking". She followed the Pumpkin Holler Boys as far as she could and enjoyed listening to them play and sing. She liked to cook and as many will tell you she was one of the best. She loved her grandkids and there was seldom a time when one of her grandkids wasn't with her. Hobby Jean had a heart for children and even the neighborhood kids called her grandma. She loved her dog Josie Maria, and she thought of her as one of her kids. Hobby Jean touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters Frances Fields, Mary Ann Ummerteskee, and John Ann Gritts; a son-in-law Brian Jumper Sr. and a granddaughter Darian Elizabeth Jumper.
