Olivia Rich

Olivia "Libby" Maye (Smith) Rich, Was born April 19th, 1942 at home In Trousdale Ok to Oliver and Myrtle Mae Smith. She passed from this life on Tuesday December 8th, 2015 Surrounded by her children in her home.

Libby married Cecil McHolland and was blessed with a daughter Jackie before he passed away. She married Albert Center and was blessed with a daughter Phyllis before he passed away. She married Tommie Sanders and was blessed with Andrea. She married Trumon Burgess and was blessed with her final baby girl Sunny. Life dealt her many blows and she took them in stride while clinging to her children and faith in God.

Libby had a full life where she was blessed with four daughters and many grand and great grandchildren. She worked in a wide variety of fields but her true calling was in working with the mentally and physically impaired. In the 22 years in the field she has worked with many individuals and organizations. Her heart was given to "the Ladies" and she stayed with them until her health forced her into retirement.

Her greatest joy came from her kids and grandchildren, helping others and sharing her love for her Savior. Her home was often open to any lost soul. While she spent her free time with family, a more voracious reader couldn't exist, she loved her flowers and humming birds as well as creating art. The family has been the subject of sculptures, sketches and paintings. She enjoyed spending time at the lake camping, swimming and fishing with her family. In 1986 she found her Church Home with Pastor Jay and Donna Jones at Word of Life and settled in as a member of Abundant Life. She never felt sorry for herself, from the day she was told she had stage four lung cancer, she said "God will either heal me or take me home". Either way she would have trusted God, and she did just that!

Olivia was preceded in death by her father Oliver Smith, and mother Myrtle Mae Smith, Sister Mary Irene Stoup, Brother David Earl Smith, Husbands Cecil McHolland, Albert Center, Tommie Sanders, Grandson James Michael Dunn (Sawney), Great Grandson James Clifford Sawney, Niece Julie Rene Whorton. She leaves behind four Daughters Jackie Richardson, Phyllis Kessinger, Andrea Cape (Husband Chris Cape), Sunny Sweet (Husband Joseph Sweet). Ex Husband Trumon Burgess, Thirteen Grandchildren , Chris Sawney, Jimmy Potts, April Potts, Bobby Center, Trae Cordell, Hannah Richardson, Tristin Cordell, Callie Cordell, Josie Sweet, Jenny Sweet, Dustin Cape, Chad Cape, Chase Cape Six Great Grandchildren, a host of Nieces, Nephews, cousins, and Special ex son in law Richard Kessinger.

A special thank you to Lesa Horney, her co-worker, friend and caregiver. The entire staff at First Choice Hospice and Hailey. Without whom we could not have taken such good care of our momma!
