Oma Teague

January 10, 1919 — November 16, 2017

Oma Lee Teague the daughter of W.R. and Mary (Bayes) Casady was born January 10, 1919 in Whitley County, Kentucky and departed this life on November 16, 2017 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 98 years, 11 months and 6 days.

Oma loved her family and lived to see five generations of the family that she and Roy started. She felt blessed to have such a wonderful family and loved each and every one of them. She enjoyed family gatherings, and especially the family reunions. She loved to crochet and quilt and nearly all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren have a memento of her talent. She enjoyed cooking and loved getting her family together for family dinners. Oma was a gracious Christian lady and a prayer warrior, who loved her church, the Woodall Methodist Church, where she was a lifetime member. Oma touched the lives of many people and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Roy Teague; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her children, Robert R. Teague and wife Opal of Tahlequah, Tom Teague and wife Gail of Tahlequah and Ginger Collins of Tahlequah; 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
