Oneta Mae Winfree, a woman deeply cherished by her family and community, will be honored in a celebration of her vibrant life. Born on August 31, 1933, in Hulbert, Oklahoma, she joyously embraced her life's journey until she peacefully passed away on September 8, 2024.
Throughout her life, Oneta remained a pillar of strength and kindness, touching the lives of many with her compassion and generosity. An avid enthusiast of Elvis Presley and an ordained minister, she tirelessly dedicated herself to aiding the developmentally disabled and spreading love and understanding to all those she encountered. Fond memories of Oneta's unyielding love for family, heartwarming family road trips, and her unwavering commitment to fostering a tight-knit bond among her loved ones, will forever linger in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Oneta was a proud mother to her children Cindy Rogers, Jack Oxford, and Christina, and leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to thrive through her loved ones.
Oneta is preceded in death by her parents Otto and Jessie Bell; siblings Christine, Geraldine, Lionel, and Lefty; daughter Pamela Sue and son-in-law Eric; grandsons Gregory Wayne, Branden, and David; granddaughter Lori Jo; great-granddaughter Lora.
Oneta is survived by her brother Ronnie; son Jack and wife Gayle; daughter Cindy and husband Jimmy Dale; daughter Christina; grandchildren Kam, Sean, Shawna, Kendra, Landan, Tori, Breanna, Gregory Ryan, Aidan, Katrina, Vickie; great-grandchildren Michael, Matthew, Johnathan, Beka, Levi, Xander, Sage, Angel, Devin, TJ, Leanne, RaeRae, Nova Grace, Breelynn Mae, Otto Wayne, Destiny, Travis; great-great-grandchildren A’Shaylinn, Josia, Luna, and Avery; as well as a host of many nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
