Patricia Ann Collins Ware passed away peacefully on May 8, 2022, with family by her side. Patricia was born July 30, 1929, in Konawa, OK to Orville Collins and Mamie Collins.

During her teen years, Patricia worked as a waitress in her mother's café in the Capitol Hill area of Oklahoma City. While waitressing, Patricia caught the eye of a handsome WWII navy man who was working at Tinker Field, forerunner of Tinker Air Force Base. She married this man, Ernest Ware, in 1949 and they had 3 children: Bruce Alan, Teresa "Terri" Renee, and Carolyn Sue in the 1950's. Patricia worked outside the home during the 1960s through the 1990s as a secretary, sales clerk and retiring in the 1990s as a safety inspector at Tinker Air Force Base. Patricia was gregarious and joined the Red Hat Society during its heyday, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), and the Rotary Club. Patricia will be missed by her family and friends.

Patricia is preceded in death, by her parents Orville and Mamie; her husband Ernest; her brother O.J. of Ozark, MO; her son Bruce of Luther, OK.

She is survived by her daughter, Terri Ware Ussery of Tahlequah, OK and daughter, Carolyn Ware Lonsdale and son-in-law John Lonsdale of Muskogee, OK; grandchildren Russell Ware of Shawnee; David Lonsdale of Glenpool, OK; granddaughter Stephanie Lonsdale of Portland, OR; grandson Daniel Lonsdale and his wife Hannah of Owasso, OK, and great grandson Lincoln Lonsdale of Owasso, OK. A memorial service will be held at Hart Funeral Home in Tahlequah soon. Patricia will be buried beside her husband at Elmwood Cemetery in Choctaw, OK.
