Paula Lee

Paula Louise Lee, a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Countryside Assisted Living in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, at the age of 73. Born March 13, 1951, in Kansas City, Missouri, to James Monroe Reynolds and Donna Bell Burchett Reynolds-Brewster, Paula's life was a testament to her kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit.

After graduating from Will Rogers High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Paula married Jerry D. Lee on July 18, 1969. Their union brought immense joy, and they shared many happy years together until Jerry's passing on January 14, 1999.

Paula dedicated much of her life to a fulfilling career in Telecommunications at the University of Tulsa, retiring in 2019. Her colleagues remember her fondly as a supportive and fun-loving presence, always willing to lend an ear and share a laugh. Her warm personality and genuine concern for others made her a cherished member of the university community.

Outside of work, Paula found joy in simple pleasures. She loved the vibrant atmosphere of casinos, enjoying the music and dancing. She cherished the company of friends, always eager to meet new people and connect with others. Her infectious friendliness and generous spirit touched the lives of everyone she met.

Paula is survived by her daughter, Angela Lee of Tahlequah; sister, Debbie Reynolds of Sapulpa; brother-in-law, Bill Zeigler of Sapulpa; sister-in-law, Sharon Cook of Arkansas; brother-in-law, Wes Cook of Arkansas; nephews, Michael Reynolds and spouse Corie Reynolds of Arkansas, and Jimmy Reynolds and spouse Erica Reynolds of Texas; aunt, Mary Sower and uncle Robert Sowers of Wagoner; aunt, Essie Holt of Broken Arrow; granddaughters, Kristina Lee of Tahlequah and Cassandra Lee of Tulsa; great-granddaughter, Gracelyn Lee of Tahlequah; and great-grandsons, Kaden Lee and Nikota Lee of Tahlequah, and Khorbin Mann and Kolten Mann of Broken Arrow.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date
