Pearl Risenhoover-Wagers

April 12, 1942 — October 1, 2015

Pearl was born April 12th, 1942 in Fort Gibson, Ok to Sam and Martha (Cooper) Risenhoover. Pearl graduated from Fort Gibson High School and went on to become a licensed Cosmetologist for over 15 years. After making her home in Tahlequah Pearl co-owned and operated Roxie's BBQ until her retirement. Pearl was passionate about spending time with her sisters, brothers, kids, grandkids, nieces, and nephews, loving a good laugh, telling stories, and stealing special sugars from all. Pearl was a true blessing to her entire family and will be greatly missed. Family gatherings will never be the same. Pearl was an accomplished chef; she loved to cook and could never stand the thought of someone going hungry. Her most joyous times were preparing dinners for family and friends. Her culinary skills were above reproach. All who knew Pearl will remember that infectious distinct laugh and voice. Pearl was honest with her words and beautiful with her smile. Those amazing ruby red lips will forever be remembered. Pearl spent her days visiting with her family, watching old movies, reading with an occasional trip to the casino.
Pearl was blessed with two sons, Rocky and Tyler. She loved to brag about her boys, they were the sparkle in her eyes.
Pearl was preceded in death by her mother and father Sam & Martha Risenhoover, sisters, Betty Moore, Cleo Bailey, and brother Troy Risenhoover.
She is survived by sons Rocky Wagers and wife Mykka, of Eugene, Oregon. Tyler Wagers, and wife and Kim of Tahlequah. Grandchildren Andrew, Hayden, Kami, and Lottie Lou.
