Peggy Head

Peggy Jo Head the daughter of William Joseph and Minnie Leota (Walton) Edwards was born December 14, 1948 in Muskogee, Oklahoma and departed this life on May 18, 2019 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years, 5 months and 4 days.

Peggy enjoyed life and she loved her family. Being around her family, especially her grandkids, was the most important thing to her. She enjoyed cooking, going out to eat and just spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed watching T.V., especially reality shows. Her favorite was American Idol, she has watched it from the beginning. Peggy worked for F and M Bank for many years before retiring. Peggy touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband James Lee Head.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her children Angie Harris and husband Brian Wilhelm of Tahlequah, Alesha Erbter and husband Ed of Grand Rapids, MI, Misti McPhail and husband Kevin of Houston, TX, Jason Head and wife Cynthia of Broken Arrow and Jennifer Martin and husband Donald of Grand Rapids, MI; her brothers Rex William Edwards and wife Melanie of Ft. Gibson, Johnny Dale Edwards and wife Diane of Muskogee and Michael Ray Edwards of Chickasha; her grandchildren Tyler Harris, Brandon McPhail, Lacey Cates, Emory Erbter, Kaleb Mantegani, Athen Erbter, Logan Mantegani, Anna Erbter, Aidan Erbter and Lindsay Mantegani; and 2 great grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
