Reba Quetone

January 2, 1931 — December 25, 2015

Reba Nell Quetone the daughter of Reverend J.W. and Mary (Carter) Oden was born January 2, 1931 in Blair, Oklahoma and departed this life on December 25, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years, 11 months and 23 days.

Reba married her lifetime partner Jim Quetone on November 13, 1953. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from NSU and served as the Director of Young Life at the Tulsa YWCA. She also taught for the Tulsa Public School System.
She was the owner operator of Quetone Flowers and Gifts in Warner, OK, and was later on staff at Connors State College as a recruiter. As the daughter of a Methodist Minister she was very involved in church her entire life.
She was a member of the United Methodist Women. Reba loved life and enjoyed painting, artwork, flowers, gardening, reading, animals, traveling and dining out. Her most cherished blessings were her grandchildren, and her time
spent with her family. Reba touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Doris Jones; and her brothers Leroy and Doyle Oden.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her husband of over 62 years Jim Quetone; her children Kim Simpson and husband Ken of Arlington, TX, Tucker Quetone and wife Becky of Rochester, MN, and
Andy Quetone and wife Sunny of Park Hill, OK; her brothers Lowell Oden and wife Jeanne of Grandbury, TX and Don Oden and wife Helen of Tulsa, OK; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
