Regenia Winkle

Regenia Kay Winkle, 72, lifetime resident of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, February 2, 2024, at WW Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah.
Mrs. Winkle was born October 11, 1951, in Tahlequah, to the late Burnadean and Alma Morris Hutchins. She graduated from Tahlequah High School. She went to nursing school where she received her Licensed Practical Nurse Certificate.
She married Johnnie Carroll Winkle on August 23, 1969, in Tahlequah.
She was a member of Rocky Ford Community Church in Cherokee County. She enjoyed gardening, loved all animals especially horses and dogs.
Mrs. Winkle is survived by her husband, Johnnie C. Winkle of Tahlequah; son, Ernest Jack Winkle of Tahlequah; two grandchildren, Jack Christian Winkle and Montana Rayne Arredondo; two brothers, Randall and Ronald Dale Hutchins, both of Lowrey Community(Cherokee County); and a sister, Diane Hammonds of the Liberty Community (Cherokee County).
She was preceded in death by her parents and two infant sons.
