Ricel Lavine Keith Jr. died August 12, 2015 at his home in Tahlequah. Rice was born August 29, 1955 in Clayton, New Mexico where his parents taught. They moved to Alaska when he was six years old where they lived on Akutan Island in the Aleutians and in Moose Passand Kenai, both on the Kenai Peninsula, into his high school years. He has lived in Tahlequah for the last few years. He is a Veteran of the US Army.
Rice is survived by his Jacob Chrisite and a special friend Marilyn Christie of Tahlequah; his sister Becky Keith Voelkel and nephews Nate and Jake Voelkel all of Oswego, Oregan; Fred Voelkel of Wuxi, China;
Aunt Isabel Baker of Tahlequah and Uncle Rev. Bill Keith of Longview, Texas. Cousins surviving him are Troy Sandford, Pam Brittain, Tim Baker, Donn Baker, Bill John Baker, Tara Rose, Kim Westfall and Lindsey Lebell.
He is preceded by his parents Ricel Lavine Keith, Sr. & Patricia Crider Keith; maternal grandparents Ben & Goldie Hardenbrook Crider, paternal grandparents Claude & Hattie Mae Boyd Keith, Aunt Jimmie McKown all of Tahlequah;
Aunt JoAnne Crider Hall of Santa Fe, New Mexico and Aunt Bettie Jean Kretchmar of Bartlesville, Ok.
