Richard Robbins the son of Ross B. and Christine (Woodard) Robbins was born January 1, 1941 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on June 8, 2016 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 75, 5 months and 7 days.
Richard enjoyed being outside whether he was working in the yard, mowing or doing what he truly loved which was riding his Harley. He enjoyed tinkering in the shop and he was a welder by trade. He spent many Saturday afternoons yelling at the T.V. while watching OU play football. Richard loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them all. He got great enjoyment from aggravating his grandkids. Richard touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ross B. and Christine Robbins; an infant brother and his grandson Joshua Baker.
He is survived by a loving family which includes his wife of over 54 years Lillian Robbins of the home; his children Rhonda Watson and husband Jack, Donna Huddleston and husband Greg, Monty Robbins and wife Lisa, Ronnie Robbins and wife Shelly and
Lori Owens and husband Robert all of Tahlequah; his sister JoAnn Otten of Tahlequah; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
The family would like to give a special Thank you to Richard's Oncologist Dr. Keller, and his assistant "The Painted Lady" (Rhonda), for taking such good care of him for over 7 years.
