Richard Allen White

Richard Allen White, 71, a resident of Tahlequah, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2026. He was born on January 10, 1955, in Lebanon, Oregon to the late Jesse Leonard White and Doris Jean (Smith) Stickel.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Melody White, daughter, Paula Wilcox, and brothers, Robert White and Mark White.
Survivors include his children, Sabrina (Mitch) Cooper, Vanessa (Cory) Farrow, and Danielle (Ricky) Rush, son-in-law, Jim Wilcox, Wendy (Randall) Jordan, and Aurora (Daniel) Vergaray, brother, Willie (Charmaine) White and sister, Treva White, grandchildren, Leslie Wilcox, Christopher Cooper, Michael Cooper, Cade Rush, Malachi Wilcox, Leeland Rush, Brantley Rush, Kayleigh Rush, and Luka Jordan, six great-grandchildren, along with many nephews, nieces, cousins, and a host of friends. Richard was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints in Tahlequah, Richard prepared taxes for many years here in town. He retired as a postal carrier, and enjoyed going on road trips, as well as fishing. He always looked forward to taking road trips.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 110 Southridge Road in Tahlequah, burial to follow at Moody Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 26, 2026 from 4 PM until 6 PM, at Hart Funeral Home.
