Rita Bias

Rita Ardeth Bias the daughter of George D. and Martha D. (Norwood) Bias was born July 3, 1958 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on February 8, 2020 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 61 years, 6 months and 5 days.Rita enjoyed life and she loved her family. She worked very hard and was very proud of her business career. She began working in the administration of the Tyson plant in Stilwell and worked there until the close of the plant. She then went to work for Cherokee Nation before retiring. She enjoyed playing the guitar and she loved music. Rita touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.Rita was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sister Jan Stephens and husband Bill; niece Syndee Collins and husband Michael, nephew David Stephens, nephew Michael McClure and wife Gayla, nephew Ashley Stephens and wife Cassy, nephew Noel Palomaria; great nieces and nephews; a dear friend and caretaker Strawberry Brashers; numerous friends and extended family.
