Robert "Bob" Lee Rogers longtime resident of Tahlequah, Oklahoma passed away on March 29, 2020, at the age of 90. Bob was born on December 11, 1929, the son of Leonard and Bertha Rogers (Alexander) in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Bob is an honorable veteran having served for the United States Navy and did 1 year overseas. In his spare time he loved to do woodworking, fishing, golfing and just being around his friends and family was what made him happy most. Before retirement, he worked for East Central University of Ada, Northeastern State University of Tahlequah and Oklahoma State University of Stillwater, Oklahoma having served as the Director of the Financial Aid department in College Admissions. He was also an Ordained Minister in 1965 until 1967 going all over the State of Oklahoma. He will be missed dearly by all he leaves behind.
He is survived by his wife; Billie "Jean" Rogers (Coles) and son; Ron and wife Liz Rogers, 2 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 2 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents; Leonard and Bertha, and son; Steven Rogers.
