Robert Warren

Robert “Bob” Clinton Warren, the son of Renus and Lucille (Sullivan) Warren, was born May 14, 1935, in Peggs, Oklahoma, and departed this life on October 29, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 87 years, 5 months and 15 days.

On March 1, 1952, Bob and his late wife, Georgia Mae Warren, were married in Van Buren, Arkansas and were married for 44 years. Bob started his career at McDonnell Douglas Aircraft in Tulsa, working alongside his father, Renus Warren. Bob left his work at McDonnell Douglas to found his own construction company. Bob’s construction company completed many projects throughout Tulsa, Muskogee, Grand Lake and Joplin. Bob loved working and continued his business until a few months ago when his health declined. Bob was generous with his talent, often helping family and friends with construction projects. He was a master carpenter, among many other construction-related talents.

In addition to his work, Bob enjoyed working on racecars and racing with his son, Lanny. He also enjoyed going to the lake, frequenting arts and craft shows with family and friends, and spending time with his family. Bob and his late wife, Georgia, especially enjoyed spending time with Pat & Farris Stevens, where trouble always ensued and stories were made. Bob was generous and believed in helping others. Indeed, Bob touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. To his last breath, Bob maintained his toughness and resilience, that his family and friends knew him by.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Mae Warren; daughter, Cheryl Warren; parents, Renus and Lucille Warren; and, his brothers Harley Warren and Arley Warren.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his children, Lanny Warren of Catoosa and Janet Rogers and husband Kenny of Owasso; his sister, Geneva Barnes of South Carolina; his grandchildren, Timothy Rogers and wife Christa of Tulsa, and Megan Harrison and husband Michael of Enid; and five great-grandchildren, Mason Harrison, Madelyn Harrison, Charlie Rogers, Miles Harrison and Caroline Rogers. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
