Ronnie Englebright

Ronnie Dow Englebright was born on August 25, 1959, at W.W. Hastings in Tahlequah, OK to Albert and Helen (Byington) Englebright. He departed this life on November 28, 2020 at the age of 61 years 3 months and 3 days. Ronnie grew up and attended school in Peggs, OK, Never leaving his childhood home on the bluff of spring creek.

Ronnie loved to work on anything with wheels, from cement mixers to cars, tractors and all kinds of lawn equipment. Above all he loved to work on his cars and he loved when there was a full moon so he could take his dogs hunting. Spring Creek was a big part of his life and brought him much enjoyment. He also had a love for gospel music, he would set his alarm on Sunday mornings to wake him with the gospel morning show. He also loved OU football and a having a big holiday feast with his family.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers, Dean, Johnnie, Delbert, Kenneth, Talbert and Richard Englebright, and two sisters, Mary Sue McKim and Janet Englebright.

Ronnie is survived by his 4 sisters, Kay and husband Joe Jenkins, Faye and husband Larry Butler, Jackie List and Sherry Martin, 2 brothers, Loyd and wife Rozella Englebright and Joe and wife Carolyn Englebright, many nieces, nephews and cousins who also survive him. Ronnie will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
