Rosemarie Geasland

Rosemarie Katherine Geasland the daughter of Joseph Frank and Rosetta Agnes (Moshier) Gromotka was born June 8, 1946 in Santa Rosa, California and departed this life on December 23, 2017 in Swan, Iowa at the age of 71 years, 6 months and 15 days.

Rosemarie enjoyed life and loved her family. She enjoyed family gatherings and just spending time with family and friends. She loved taking care of the kids and spending time with all of her grandchildren. She enjoyed horseback riding and fishing. She loved curling up with a good historical romance novel and reading until she was finished. Rosemarie touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Charles Henry Geasland Jr.; her sister Cathy Morgan; and her brothers Bud Mannon and Gary Novak.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her children Timothy Geasland of Swan, IA, Kristina Smith and husband Tony of Runnels, IA, Becky Loberg and husband Ken of Elkhorn, WI, Stacy Kaplar and husband Scott of Swan, IA and Sheena Dobbs and husband C.J. of Muskogee, OK; her sisters Diane Gasper of Georgia and Charlene Martin of Washington; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
