Ruby Vance

Ruby Mae Vance the daughter of Richard and Edna (Gritts) Manus was born November 18, 1937 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on January 23, 2017 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years, 2 months and 5 days.

Ruby loved her family and enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved going to church and serving the Lord. She enjoyed traveling and just going whether it was out to eat, shopping or across the country. In the fall she would spend her time watching OU football every time they played. She also enjoyed watching General Hospital and you dare not interrupt her during that time of the day. Ruby touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Victor Vance; her son David Manus and 11 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her children Linda Wilder and husband Billy, Carl Stacey and wife Melanie, Shelby Stacey and wife Kim and Brian Vance all of Tahlequah; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
