Samuel Zane Howe the son of Samuel Leroy and Elizabeth Pauline (Mitchell) Howe was born February 16, 1965 in Muskogee, Oklahoma and departed this life on April 10, 2016 on Lake Ft. Gibson doing what he loved at the age of 51 years, 1 month and 26 days.
Zane enjoyed life and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting guns, and was an avid gun collector. He owned and operated OK Anglers, a fishing tournament, and was well known in the fishing world. Zane loved cattle ranching and enjoyed working with his cattle on the Lazy H Ranch that he owned and operated with his wife and children. He attended college at Connors State and also at Oklahoma State University. Zane worked for Lake Region Electric Cooperative for over 29 years. He was very active in 4-H and FFA growing up and supported both clubs throughout his life. Zane loved spending time with his family and enjoyed going on family vacations. He lived for the next vacation destination. Zane touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law Rev. Arlie Carson.
He is survived by a loving family which includes his wife Gina Arlene (Carson) Howe of the home; his children Samuel Cheyan Howe and wife Keanna of Camp Pendleton, California where he is an active duty Marine, Taylor Zane Howe of the home, Carley Alyssa Lockaton of the home and Eden Amanda Barber of Wagoner; his parents Sam and Pauline Howe of Lost City; his sister-in-law Kay Hamlin and husband Darin of Independence, KS; his mother-in-law Jean Carson of Wagoner; his niece Brooklynn Hamlin and his nephew Dalson Hamlin both of Independence, KS. Many friends and other relatives also survive him.
