Samuel Howe

Samuel Leroy Howe was born on February 06, 1935 in Yonkers, OK, to Claude and Lila (Downing) Howe. Sam was a believer and worshipped at the South College Church of Christ in Tahlequah Oklahoma. He married the love of this life, Elizabeth Pauline Mitchell on September 17, 1957. Sam worked for many successful years at Lake Region Electric up until his retirement. He was a lifelong resident of the Hulbert community. Sam enjoyed cattle ranching, welding, and in his younger days hunting and fishing. He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids. Sam will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Sam is preceded in death by his parents Claude and Lila (Downing) Howe, Wife, Elizabeth Howe, son, Zane Howe, and nephew Steve Howe.
Sam is survived by his grandson, Cheyan Howe and wife Keanna of Hulbert, OK; granddaughter, Taylor Howe of Muskogee, OK; great-grandkids, Braylynn Hammond and Knox Phillips of Muskogee, OK; siblings, Juanita Burch of Ohio, Joanne Smith of Hulbert, OK, Ed Howe and wife Florence of Porter, OK, Paul Howe and wife Connie of Hulbert, OK, along with other family friends and loved ones. Dave Howe, Mark Howe, Ed Howe, Paul Howe and Keith Howe will be serving as Honorary Pallbearers.
