Shawn Braun

Shawn Braun the son of Anthony Franklin Braun and Suellen Faye (Myers, Doubet) Moore was born August 30, 1970 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on January 9, 2020 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 49 years, 4 months and 10 days.

Shawn enjoyed life and he loved his family and friends. He was very proud of his Cherokee heritage. He enjoyed playing the flute, cooking, and playing poker. He enjoyed playing golf and he was a black belt in Karate. Shawn graduated from Stilwell High School, later he went on to Haskell Indian Junior College, then Northeastern State University where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree. Shawn touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his mother Suellen Moore and husband G. Lee of TX; his father Anthony Franklin Braun and wife Julie of Stilwell; his son; his sisters Jessica Urgilez and husband Angel of Navarre, FL, Dorothy Stephens of Ft. Worth, TX, Rhonda McDaniel and husband Matthew of Sand Springs, OK, and Tamara Michelle Braun of Stilwell, OK; his brother Josiah Braun of NJ. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him. Services will be held at Hart Funeral Home: viewing on January 24th 1:00-8:00 PM and memorial service on January 25th at 2:00 PM
