Sheila Thurmond

Sheila Thurmond the daughter of Lexie B. and Jewell Kathleen Blake Thurmond was born May 18, 1955 in Corpus Christie, Texas and departed this life on December 3, 2014 in Muskogee, Oklahoma at the age of 59 years, 6 months and 15 days.

Sheila enjoyed life and loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed bingo, crocheting, crossword puzzles, and jigsaw puzzles. Sheila enjoyed her T.V. as well. She loved to watch W.W.E., Nascar, OU Football and the Dallas Cowboys. She also enjoyed her soap operas. Sheila loved her family and enjoyed every moment she got to spend with them. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her children David McDaniel and wife Nicole of Siloam Springs, Jewell Thurmond, Sheila Oropeza, and Roselynn Gage all of Tahlequah, and Michael Gage and husband Michael Giordano of Tulsa her brothers Russell Hamilton of Cookson and Robert Hamilton of Sun City, AZ 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Many friends and other relatives also survive her.
