Our loving daughter, mother and grandmother, Shelly Renee Richmond, passed from this life on August 10, 2022, surrounded by loved ones and friends.
Shelly was born on February 15, 1973, the only daughter of Allen and JoAnn (Rackliff) Richmond. Throughout her life, she was a blessing and a joy to her parents. She showed all her loved ones how much they meant through her acts of kindness and service. No one ever had to question her love for them.
Shelly had a very special bond with her two daughters and her son- in- law, Johnny Keith. They rode the river together and weathered many storms. They were the light of her life and her grandkids were her pride and joy. You couldn't be around her for very long without hearing a "the boys..." story.
Shelly loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was a jokester who was always making people laugh. Her smile was unforgettable and her sassy whit was second to none. She delighted in working in her yard, especially in the garden. If she wasn't going to the gun range, fishing and swimming she was at home doing crafts, diamond paintings, basket weaving or anything she could think of to do to improve her home. Pinterest was her inspiration.
She is survived by a loving family which includes her parents Allen and JoAnn Richmond of Tahlequah; her daughters Whitney Murphy and husband Johnny of Welling and Bailey Richmond of Tahlequah; her brothers Roger Allen Richmond and wife Heidi Jo of Neosho, MO, and Adam Joseph Richmond and wife Charlena of Tahlequah; and four grandchildren, Chandler, Baylea, Kanaan & Kingston. Several nieces, nephews, many dear friends and other relatives also survive her.
Shelly touched many lives over the years. She will be missed dearly but we are so thankful for every moment we had with her... all the memories... all the laughter... all the love.
