Skyler Heaton

Skyler Glen Heaton, Tahlequah resident passed away Tuesday June 16, 2015. He was 23 years of age.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday June 22, 2015 at the Tahlequah First Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Park Hill Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.

Skyler was born February 26, 1992 in Tahlequah. He was the son of Michael and Stephanie Heaton. He attended school in Hulbert and graduated from the Hulbert High School in 2010. At the time of his death he was working as an apprentice electrician.

He loved the outdoors, fishing on the lakes and rivers and athletics, especially basketball. He was a member of the Hulbert 2010 State Finals basketball team. He also loved his family, taking care of his Grandma and spending time with his friends.

Survivors include his parents, Mike and Stephanie Heaton; one brother Blayne Heaton and brothers in life and basketball, Dustin Shade, Casey Arnall, Dillon Brown, Richard Henson, Brett Walker, Cody Colburn, Cody Potts, Cody Adair, Dustin Gourd, Nate Linch, Greydon Elrod, Skylar Ratliff and Fayzon Ritchie and the love of his life, Kassey Dirteater. He is also survived by his grandparents, Rick and Carol Maxwell, Mildred and Doyle Young and Tommie Lee and Gail Heaton; his great grandmother Jewell Berg; an uncle Jason Maxwell and his wife Tazy and numerous other relatives and friends.
