Celebrating the life of Susan Elizabeth Pipkins, 67, who departed this world on August 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family in Tahlequah. Born on February 28, 1958, in Bakersfield, California, Susan was the beloved daughter of the late Tom and Reba (Littrell) Hobbs.Susan's journey was filled with love, dedication, and a spirit of service. Susan worked in a few different professions over the years but, she most enjoyed the years working for the Kern County Sheriff's Department as a Reserve Deputy. However, her truest pride and joy stemmed from being a devoted mother and grandmother, whose heart overflowed with affection for her family.In celebration of her vibrant life, a graveside service will be held at 3 PM on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Molly Fields Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to gather and share their fond memories from 10 AM until 2 PM on the same day at Hart Funeral Home.Susan was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, John Leslie Pipkins, Sr.; her brother, Daniel Hobbs; and her sister, Tammy Hobbs.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, embodied in her children-Jeffrey Peterson, John Pipkins Jr. (wife Jamie), Joseph Pipkins (wife Lindsey), Wendy Navarro (husband Jose), Kristy Pipkins (significant other Tyler Bell), Amber Meza (husband Anthony), and Nicole Davis. Additionally, she was a proud grandmother to 15 grandchildren, Jordyn, Alexandria, Javier, Damian, Avril, Isabella, Kyleigh, Haley, Gabriel, Abigail, Annika, Victoria, Brooklyn, Jackson, Kaydence, and Riley and a joyous great-grandmother to three, Adiley, Brantley, and Camren. As we remember Susan Pipkins, let us celebrate her adventurous spirit and the warmth she brought into our lives. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
