Funeral services for Susie Davis will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday August 23, 2016 at the Elm Tree Baptist Church with Bro. DJ McCarter officiating. Susie Davis the daughter of Tom and Maggie (Ratt) Pickup was born October 1, 1931 in Tailholt, Oklahoma and departed this life on August 17, 2016 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years, 10 months and 16 days.

Susie enjoyed crocheting, sewing, singing and playing the piano. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She worked at Tahlequah Laundry for over 10 years and then worked as the Secretary at Tenkiller Schools for over 36 years. She loved the Lord and enjoyed serving side by side with her husband Frank. Susie touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son Vernon Davis; a great granddaughter Parker Davis; and a great grandson Cole Blair.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her husband Frank Davis of the home; her daughter-in-law Kathy Davis-Fisher and husband Bill of Hulbert; her brother DJ McCarter and wife Frances of Tahlequah; her sister Lillie Perry of Tahlequah; her grandchildren Shelly Limore and husband Jeff of Stilwell and Tony Davis of Tahlequah; and her great grandchildren Haley, Taylor and Fisher. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
