Terry Peace

November 2, 1956 — March 28, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Terry Leon Peace, who left this world on March 28, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital in Muskogee, surrounded by his loving family. Terry was born on November 2, 1956, in Borger, TX. Terry was a proud American Indian man who had a zest for life like no other. He loved spending time in the great outdoors, fishing, hunting, and racing dirt bikes. His passion for motorcycles and roping as a cowboy brought him immense joy.


Terry will be dearly missed by his loved ones, including his mother, Gladys Mattie Ann Eastham, his daughters Shelby and her husband Jerrod Smith and Ashley and Nicholas Burkholder, his brother Tommie Peace, and his sisters LeDenna Peace, Charolette and Bobby Jackson, and DeAnn Peace. He was also a cherished grandfather to Avery Smith, Addison Smith, and Natalie Burkholder. In addition to his family, Terry leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends, all of whom will remember him fondly. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Everett Peace.

Public viewing wil be Tuesday, April 2,2024 from 5 PM until 7 PM at Harts Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service to celebrate Terry's life will be 11 AM,Wednesday,April 3,2024 at Hart Funeral Home,burial to follow at Park Hill Cemetery.


Terry's light will continue to shine through the memories he created and the lives he touched. May his spirit find eternal peace and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
