Thomas Jones Jr.

Thomas M. Jones Jr., the son of Thomas M. Sr. and Pearl (Alexander) Jones, was born June 20, 1930 in Emet, Oklahoma and he passed peacefully from this life on December 20, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 85 years and 6 months.

Thomas served his country proudly in the United States Army from June 30, 1951 until he retired as a CW4 on June 30, 1971. He was a Korean War veteran. He was also a business license inspector for Kern County, California. Thomas earned his Master's Degree and was a psychometrist for the Fort Gibson, OK school district for several years. He was an avid gun collector, and enjoyed classic cars, electronics and watching NASCAR and football. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and loved spending time with his family and friends. Thomas touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of over 60 years Donna Nadine Jones; and 2 brothers Larion Gene Jones and Larry Ferrell Jones.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his children Paula A. Wolf and husband Michael of Hulbert, Sheryl R. Townsend of Tahlequah, Jennifer D. Keller and husband Edward of Topeka, KS, and Mike T. Jones and wife Dana of Tulsa; his sisters Carol Iriart-Rose of Keller, TX and Ruth Wilhite of Stilwell; 10 grandchildren Angela Ingram, Melanie Evans, Matthew Johnson, Amelia Brown, James Townsend, Harley Johnson, Valerie Maher, Edward Max Keller, Alex Jones, and Camille Jones; 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
