Tommy Taylor

Tommy Taylor was born April 30, 1938 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and he passed from this life on Saturday, March 10, 2018, in Tahlequah, at the age of 79. Tommy was the youngest son of Tom and Marie Taylor.

Tommy was a very outgoing, friendly person. He was baptized in 1966, and since then, he spent much of his time working on World Bible School ministries, through which he had over 50,000 communications, largely due to his goal to reach 1,200 to 2,000 students per year. Tahlequah Church of Christ was a big part of Tommy's life, and he felt very blessed by all the love he received from the members of his church.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Leon, Lewis, Bill, and John, his sisters Ruby and Katie, his nephew Wiley Taylor, and his niece Nita Mitchell. He is survived by his sisters Rachel Taylor, Elsie Ethridge, and Mary Taylor, all of Tulsa, numerous nephews and nieces, and his sister-in-law Lexy Taylor, of Aztec, New Mexico.
