Tony Boyle

Tony Edward Boyle passed peacefully on January 4, 2024, at Heritage Grove Assisted Living Facility in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

 
Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M., Monday, January 8, 2024, at Hart Funeral Home in Tahlequah, OK,with the Reverend James Roberts officiating. 

 
Tony was born December 15, 1940, to Ross and Betty Boyle in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Tony is survived by his brother Danny Boyle and wife Pam, and his sister Barbara Scott.

Tony married the love of his life Carla June Anderson on August 4th 1962. They shared 62 years of friendship, love, and Family.

Tony joined the Army in September of 1968, serving as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam. After the war he joined the Oklahoma Army National Guard Aviation Division where he served an additional 20 years, Retiring as a Decorated Colonel. 

Tony was also an entrepreneur, he opened BS&G Pawn Shop in Tahlequah, OK, over 42 years ago. He was known as "The Old Irishman" or "The Local Leprechaun."

 
Tony was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, leader, a friend to many, and a Hero.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents. 
 

Tony is survived by his loving wife, Carla; three children Todd and Becky Boyle, Shannon Boyle, Shelly and Jim Bloomcamp, four grandchildren, Niki Rogers and husband Brandon, Greg Boyle and wife Brittani, Tyler Bloomcamp, and Maddox Bloomcamp; four great-grandchildren, Cael Rogers, Drue Rogers, Jaylon Holt, and Bailey Holt.
