Violet Washington

Violet Washington the daughter of Jim Washington and Margeret Kitson Washington was born May 25, 1959 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on January 22, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 60 years 7 months and 28 days.

Violet enjoyed life and he loved her family, she also loved playing with her Grandchildren. She liked to pass time drawing and listening to music, particularly the Oldies. Violet loved to make people laugh and had an uncanny ability to break awkward moments by saying something funny. Violet touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Hank Washington and JW Washington; sisters, Melba Deckard and Linda Washington.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her children, Violet Colunga of Tahlequah, OK, Spanky Thompson of Tahlequah, OK, Sabrina Thompson of Muskogee, OK, and Sondra Haire; brother David Washington and wife Billie; sister Joyce Deckard and husband Bill; 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
