William Hummingbird Jr.

William Wade Hummingbird Jr., the son of William Wade Hummingbird Sr. and Kathleen Louise (Warren) Hummingbird, was born August 2, 1981 in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota and departed this life on July 8, 2016 in Carthage, Missouri at the age of 34 years, 11 months and 6 days.

William loved life and lived life to the fullest. He loved his job and took great pride in his work. He enjoyed hot coffee, good food and his "before" and "after" cigarette. He spoke with smile and always made sure people knew he had arrived. He was always on the move and enjoyed helping people, when given the opportunity. He had a passion for tinkering on cars and gave each project his undivided attention. William touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his wife, Michelle Hummingbird, of Buckeye, AZ; his father and "buddy", William Wade Hummingbird Sr. of Tulsa; his mother Kathleen Hummingbird of White Earth, MN; his children Jasmine Mares, of Buckeye, AZ and Joseph Mares of Phoenix, AZ; his God-Daughter, Sonni Michelle Whaley of Phoenix, Az; sisters Jodi Lynn Hummingbird of White Earth, MN and Gloria Lee Ward of Salina; and his brothers John Michael Hummingbird of White Earth, MN; Marcus Scott Chezem of Tulsa, OK; and Brandon Wade Chezem also of Tulsa, OK. Many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
