Wynona Galyean

Wynona M. Galyean the daughter of William David and Betty Viola (West) Hastings was born May 29, 1935 in Clearfork, Oklahoma and departed this life on September 16, 2016 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years, 3 months and 18 days.

Wynona loved life and loved her family. She enjoyed her role as a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, doing different crafts and taking care of house plants. She enjoyed spending time with her family and she loved to travel. Wynona was fiery but she was good as gold. She loved the Lord and enjoyed going to church. Wynona touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Clarence Hastings and A.L. Hastings; and her sisters Beulah Toney and Eula Holland.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her husband Bob Galyean of the home; her daughters Rhonda Jean Wheeler and husband Bill of Chewey, Robbin Lynn Fain and husband Jim of Chewey and Bobbie Eugenia Brown of Tulsa; her sisters Wilma Lea Morris of Broken Arrow and Modene Hammer of Westville; 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
