Carolyn Castillo

October 28, 1955 — March 27, 2022

Carolyn Sue Castillo the daughter of Dennis and Louise (Towie) Pritchett was born October 28, 1955, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on March 27, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 66 years and 5 months.

Carol had a fiery spirit and loved her family dearly. She enjoyed spending time with her girls, grandchildren and great-grandbabies. She would often say that she was the luckiest Ma in the world to have all these beautiful babies. Her favorite times were the girls day "Sneak Offs." She spent the whole day with her girls, and (every now and then one of those grandsons would tag along) doing the things that she loved. Anytime she was coming to OKC, she would say "Let's go Eat!" She loved eating out with the entire family, enjoyed antiquing, playing bingo and going to the casino, shopping (we always had to go to Ross and $1 Jewelry Store). She was an artist who loved to draw, inspired by nature and the outdoors. She loved going on drives just to look at the beauty of God's creation- flowers, landscapes, and the trees. She absolutely loved the trees and would often say "if you listen, they will talk to you." Carol touched so many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family would like to ask that anyone attending her funeral to please wear bright, beautiful colors to honor her favorite colors- the rainbow.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Rianna Louise Castillo; her granddaughter Ysabella Castillo and her sister Sharon Scraper.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her little fur baby Whathahey, her husband Ralph Castillo of Newalla; her daughters Maria Long and husband Billie of Newalla, Marisa Castillo of Edmond and Tamara Castillo and husband Troy Garcia of Ponca City; her brothers Darrell Wilson, Sammy Wilson and wife Phyllis, and Clayton Pritchett all of Tahlequah; her sisters Denise Drywater and husband Darren, Jolene Pritchett Vann and husband Kevin, Ladonna Garcia and husband Jose and Karen Pritchett all of Tahlequah; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren with one great-grandchild on the way. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
