After becoming a carpenter, he returned home to Oklahoma where he spent many years building houses and perfecting his craft.
Blaine was an avid fisherman who loved to hunt, camp and raise cattle. After retiring, you could often find him working in his garden, working cattle, looking for a fishing spot or spending time with his wife and family. He also enjoyed watching and reading old Westerns.
He and his wife Betty loved to camp and travel and took numerous trips all over the United States exploring new places.
He and Betty shared everything life had to offer and were great role models for their family and friends. He was always there to offer advice or a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He instilled solid values in his children, and his kindness and generosity will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
