Debra Ann Williams

January 21, 1951 ~ June 9, 2022 (age 71)


Debra Ann (Sisney) Williams passed from this life on earth, Thursday June 9, 2022. Debra was born in Lafayette, Indiana on January 21, 1951, to mother Jessie Merle (Tincher) Sisney and Orvel Jack Sisney.

Debra attended grade school in Indiana and Losher grade school on highway 10. She went to 8th grade at Combs Public School and graduated from Tahlequah High School in 1969. After graduation, Debra attended Beauty College in Muskogee and became a hairdresser in Tahlequah. Debra married Fred Williams on November 22, 1969, at the Church of Christ in Tahlequah. They shared a wonderful 53 years together. Their marriage was blessed with two daughters; Sacha and Lacye. They eventually moved to Owasso in 1971 and then came back to Tahlequah in 1972. Debra worked at Strass Drug Store and a Hairdresser at night. She started working for First National Bank in 1974, and through many name changes and owners, she was in banking for 28 years. She retired from Bank of America as a Branch Manager of the Keys branch in Park Hill. Debra was an active member of the Beta Sigma Phi service sorority and attended night classes at Northeastern State University.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents; Jessie and Orval Sisney.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years; Fred Williams of the home, two daughters; Sacha Tinsley and husband Troy, and Lacye Scott and husband Drew, grandchildren; Taylon Boren, Harley Tinsley, Breckin Scott, Eisley Scott, and Ellie Scott all of Tahlequah, brother; Larry Sisney and wife Sandy of Tahlequah, brother-in-law; Travis Williams of Owasso, nieces; Jennifer Harlow and husband Chad, Kelly Renfro and husband Brady all of Tahlequah, Kim Harris and Husband Luke of Tulsa and Katey Williams of Oregon, great nieces; Katelyn and Maggie Renfro of Tahlequah. Numerous cousin and friends she also leaves behind.
