Gladys Leach

Gladys Aretta Leach the daughter of George and Lottie (Poor) Leach was born September 1, 1948, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on June 19, 2021, in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 72 years, 9 months and 18 days.

Gladys enjoyed her role as a mother and grandmother. Her family was the center of her life. She enjoyed playing cards, casino games, going to yard sales and flea markets. She was an avid OKC Thunder fan and she loved OU football, (HORNS DOWN). Gladys touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Herman McCollum; her sons Ricky McCollum and Corey Leach; her brothers George Leach, RD Leach, CJ Leach, and Sam Leach; and her sisters Anna May Lay, Maudie Sue Raleigh, Lucy Anderson, Betty Richmond, Shirley Richardson and Brenda Phillips.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her children Phillip Leach and wife Ernie of Tahlequah, Loretta Hardbarger of Hulbert, and Connie Kirk and husband Brian of Rocky Ford; her sister Bobbie Wilson of Stilwell; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
