Jon Gulley

Jon Evelyn Gulley the daughter of William and Mabel (Terry) Jordan was born February 24, 1937, in Stigler, Oklahoma and departed this life on February 26, 2023, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma at the age of 86 years and 2 days.

Jon E. loved life. She and her husband Jimmy lived on a dairy farm for over 20 years. She also worked at Go Ye Village and several other nursing facilities as a nurse's aide, and was a housekeeper at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. She enjoyed family meals after church on Sundays. She was well known for her fried chicken and homemade pies. She loved family reunions, where she could show off her cooking skills. She loved her family dearly and truly enjoyed getting together with family and friends. Jon E. touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jimmy Gulley; and her sons William Gulley and Jimmy Faron Gulley.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her daughter Tonya Garrett and husband David of Bartlesville; her brother Terry Jordan and wife Mary of Checotah; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
