Kenneth Ray Hooten, 83, of Wagoner, OK passed away on June 8, 2022, at his home. He was born on November 28, 1938, the son of Joseph Calvin and Lois Ann (Knight) Hooten.
Kenneth was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He served in the United States Army for 22 years, and was a Vietnam veteran. He truly loved his country and his family and was a friend to everyone he met. He was a loving, caring and devoted husband of 56 years to Orene (Townsend) Hooten making many memories over that time. He will be missed by everyone he leaves behind.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Joseph and Lois Hooten, daughter; Maggie Rosalee Nolan Allen, brothers; James and Wendall Hooten, and sister; Mary Ruth Coonfield.
He is survived by a loving family, which includes his wife of the home; Orene (Townsend) Hooten, Children; Kenneth Tyrone "Ty" Hooten, and Thoumage "TJ" James Hooten, grandchildren; Alysia Barton, Brittany Smith, Amber Allison, Julian Bryant, Abigail Bradley, Robert Nolan, Christopher Nolan, Bryan Allen, Stoakley Hooten, Irelynn Hooten, great grandchildren; Wesely Platt, Kya Platt, Aunna Platt, Kendra Mayfield, Markel Barnett, Joe Barnett and Valerie Barnett, Julien Jacob Nolan, Zane Nolan, Nevah Nolan, Chance Allen, brother; Danny Hooten, sisters; Pat Ashworth and Patricia Martin. Numerous family and friends he also leaves behind.
