Larry Melton

Larry Franklin Melton the son of Elmer and Velma (Wheeler) Melton was born July 16, 1959, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on June 5, 2020, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 60 years, 10 months and 20 days.

Larry enjoyed life. He loved being outdoors whether he was fishing or just spending time with friends and family. He was well versed in the Bible and read his Bible all the time. He had begun to write down his thoughts and most of his writings were his interpretations of the Bible. He loved the Lord and he loved his family. Larry touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Velma Melton.

He is survived by his children Jamie Melton, Lori Nez, Larry Franklin Whitmire and Jeni Lea Melton; his siblings Jeannie Martin and husband Billye, Leon Melton and wife Wendy and Ginger Pigeon; and several grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
