Leroy Combs

Leroy Combs the son of Jess Combs and Maggie Robbins was born January 13, 1936, in Claremore, Oklahoma and departed this life on May 28, 2020, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years, 4 months and 15 days.

Leroy was a carpenter by trade but a farmer by choice. He loved raising horses, cows, pigs, chickens and ducks. He loved getting out and riding his horses and taking care of all the animals. He also enjoyed gardening and canning the vegetables that he grew. Leroy enjoyed auctions and flea markets, always looking for a good deal. He loved sitting around talking about the good ole days and reminiscing. Most of all he loved his wife of 64 years, Loretta Combs, and his family and friends. Leroy was a God fearing man that touched the lives of many. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Loretta Combs; his son Franklin Lee Combs and his grandson Chad Combs.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his children Freda Watkins and husband Michael of Kansas, Susanna Marler and husband Keith of Teresita and Doreen Wilkerson and husband James of Moody; 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
