Nelda Quick

Nelda Gay Quick the daughter of Kenneth Otto and Eula May (Addington) Quick was born August 22, 1946, in Colcord, Oklahoma and departed this life on November 3, 2022, in Hulbert, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years, 2 months and 12 days.

Nelda loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was a social butterfly who never met a stranger, she would talk to everyone. She loved to go dancing and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, and always went on great vacations. She enjoyed being around the water whether she was swimming or fishing. Nelda touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family always looked forward to her calling each year to sing them Happy Birthday. They would also like to thank Traditions Hospice for their excellent care.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers Richard, Gene, Billy and Bobby Quick.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her children James Michael Fishinghawk of Hulbert, Harold Glenn Fishinghawk and wife Tracy of Ft. Gibson, Kimberely Gaye Pearce and husband William Paul of Ft. Gibson, Shannon Sue Swinford and spouse Rodney Teague of Tahlequah and Cynthia Denise Vaughn of Hulbert; her sister Ardella Hester of Westville; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
