Paula Foster

March 27, 1959 — April 27, 2022

Paula Fern Foster was born in Norman, OK, on March 27, 1959 to Harold and Bonnie (Becknel) Kinsey. Paula passed from this life on April 27, 2022 at the age of 63.

My mom was a gentle hearted soft spoken woman. She was very passive and sweet and would let things go easily. She never harbored ill will. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her world. Her husband was her rock!! She would drop anything she was doing to come to any of our aid at any time and if she couldn't do it, Jack to the rescue!! She helped us all to succeed in various ways. She loved animals as much as people, and would keep any stray we brought home. Like one time, she told me a story about herself picking up a kitten on the side of the road. She took it home and was bathing it in the sink and was saying how mellow it was in the bath, until she realized it was actually dead. We laughed and laughed until we cried and she made me promise I would never tell that story. Sorry mom, I told ya I was going to tell it, but it was too funny and too sweet not to tell. It shows perfectly how precious she was. She enjoyed cooking, her food was great but make sure you brought your own salt and pepper. She said, you needed to taste the food not the spices, and Jack was always right there helping and it was always good. She also enjoyed giving all our family haircuts. She styled and cut her children, grandchildren and even greatgrandchildren, and every single time she would critique and redo our hair for days until it was to her satisfaction. It's was a labor of love we all enjoyed and will always remember.
We will all miss her fingers in our hair, her love and affection, her cooking kisses and mostly her beautiful reassuring smile and beautiful soft voice. We love you to the moon and back. We know you will always be with us sending us your love always. Paula will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
