Roger Orsburn

Roger Dale Orsburn the son of Linzy and Anna Bell (Williams) Orsburn was born February 24,1949 in Holdenville, Oklahoma and departed this life on October 25,2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years, 8 months and 1 day.

Roger enjoyed life and loved being outdoors. He loved watching OU football and watching western movies, his favorite was Heartland. He was a bull rider in his younger years and enjoyed the rodeo life. He had a passion for horses and loved working with horses. He enjoyed riding horses and breaking them. Roger enjoyed hunting and fishing. Roger was a mechanic by trade and could work on any car or truck you brought to him. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Roger touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his mother Anna Bell Orsburn.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his father Linzy Orsburn of Tahlequah; his children Johnny Orsburn of Stuttgart, AR, Angel Orsburn of Conway, AR and Melany Orsburn of Hot Springs, AR; his sister JoAnn Stepp of White Hall, AR; his grandchildren Lori Ann Brown and Jordan Elliott and his great grandchildren Major Ice and Olivia Elliott. Many friends and other relatives also survive him.

Services will be held Thursday, Oct. 31,2019 at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Blue Springs Cemetery, north of Tahlequah on 82 HWY. Reception will follow at Kim & Linda Stipes home in Locust Grove, Ok. Funeral services under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
